Thanks for your feedback on my LLBD! I'm pretty sure I am going to keep it, since I feel happy when wearing it.

Anyhow, the Okalas arrived today (thank you Zappos). They are as comfy as everyone says! I think my knees will be OK with the height, as long as I'm not on my feet too much.

So for NYE, we're going to do some fairly low-key hanging out at a nice restaurant (no crazy dance parties or anything) but I wanted to snazz it up a bit. I thought of wearing the dress, the Okalas and a ring. That's it. What do you think? Too minimal? Oh, I would wear make-up -- I don't have any on in the photos

Another option would be my holographic silver Jeffrey Campbell flat sandals. I'd wear a sparkly necklace with the dress in that case.

BTW, I apologize for the crazy angles. We were shooting in the stairwell since it had the best light, but you see what happens. At least that's one way to look like an Amazon
