Possible MOTG outfit? trousers, tee, blazer & loafer

Do you think this outfit works as MOTG? Or is it boring, bad proportions, needs improving / other styling?

I'm hoping the loafers works, but are not sure, so very happy for honest input. If they don't fit, is it because they are dated, bad proportions, other reason?

All suggestions and comments are welcome!

- tee with print
- grey linen trousers
- black loafers with chunky heel

I like the blazer and tee with the trousers.

But I dont exactly like the shoes :(.... Please check out with others because this particular style isn't my favorite. It is too masculine for my taste

I posted a K/T thread on them some time ago and there was disagreement about it. I kept it still to see if I could style it in a better way. I'm actually liking the masculine vibe here (and loafers are not my thing in general), but I've found other eyes very constructive. Sometimes you hold on to items because of emotional reasons, not great style, you know

I like the outfit, but I think it would feel more Motg to me with a different pant. Bf jeans? Or slim ankle pants?

I think in general Tnis is a good MOTG outfit. I do feel the Loafers are too heavy for the outfit though:). The linen pants are a little flowly and light by virtue of them being linen so I would like to see a more feminine shoe (ballet flat or sandal). and I don't know if I have told you but I LOVE this jacket on you. I will never tire of seeing it.

That blazer has turned out to be an amazing workhorse for you!

To my eye, the light flowy trousers and the heavy shoes don't match. I think a boyfriend style jean or trouser would look fun here, with the rolled leg making the shoe look more casual and giving a feminine edge to a masculine look.

Thanks! I was afraid that it the loafers were too heavy, but hoping it worked anyway. Well, I'll keep on trying.

BUT can you still see this as MOTG, but with a different shoe? A wedge sandal maybe?

Ooo yes... You can run behind kids easily in that :)...(Oldest of cousins and I was the preferred baby sitter )... Wedge Sandals are easy on feet

That jacket is your very best friend.

I like the shoes themselves but agree with others that another shoe might work better with this pant.
