i actually paid full price for an item for the first time ever! i had lost the best jean skirt ever because i was too cheap to pay full price.

it was traumatic but i have been searching for this type of closed toe wedge heel for at least 5 years. i'm donating the open toed version that i bought on sale eons ago and have placed my new purchase in its place.

and i felt liberated!!!!

congratulations. you're one step closer to sanity. any time I see something I want that's full price, I always ask myself: will I kill myself if it's sold out by the time it's on sale? if the answer is yes, I buy it at full price.

I pay full price for most of my things, my size especially in shoes rarely makes it to the sales especially the good stuff so if I love it and it fits I buy it straight away. I also have the patience of a small child on Christmas eve and would NEVER be able to wait till something I loved went on sale x

bj, cost per wear they will probably end up so much cheaper than the sale shoes you are about to donate anyway because you love them and you will wear them all the time. Enjoy!

Good for you!! I am hot on your heels! I am a die hard bargain hunter. I'm trying to change but it's sooo hard after all these years. This morning I paid $48 for a belt that had disappeared off Zappos last week, but must have been returned because just the one was available again. I've never paid that much for a belt in my life! More like $10 or $15. I didn't hesitate to pay the full price because my heart literally sank when I saw it disappear last week. A chance at redemption - and I took it!
I think our lesson is that if we really want it, waiting for a price break only to find it has disappeared is so NOT worth it!
