Ponte knit zippered skinnies

I'm killing 2 birds with one stone here. I loved Angie's zippered skinnies but haven't found any to fit and i've been intrigued by the YLF love affair with ponte knit (wow after trying them on i see why we love them,comfy as PJs!)
This is the longest length available. My gut says ok open with heels

I also plan to wear them tucked into boots.
Do i treat them as leggings or skinnies? here they are as skinnies

I am with Alecia... I am not even sure I know the exact definition of what constitutes ponte knit, so I am way out of my league.

I do think they look good with the heels, and ok with the flats. Though it would help to see a full length side view of both as well.

KILLER shoes. You have no idea what that first picture just did to me. Those shoes with zippered hems? Good grief!!! Now I have to recover……

Louise, the pants look GREAT unzipped with the heels. I think they're a bit too short to wear zipped with flats, but I'm definitely not an expert on that.

I think you can wear them either as skinnies or leggings. The last photo looks good.

I haven't yet found a pair of ponte knit pants that are PPL, so I wear mine tucked into boots.
I love your shoes and unzipped ankle. What a great way to show off a pair of hot shoes.

Woohoo Just need to find some comfy heels as those are the most gorgeous but most uncomfortable shoes ever they rub the skin off the top of my toes can't see why cause there's plenty of room in them. I originally wanted the trousers to tuck into boots for work anyway so perhaps they can wait for heels till the summer when i can get my sandals out

Louise - where did you get your trousers? I haven't seen very much ponte knit in the UK (or perhaps I am completely blind).

With the shoes, sometimes I find that it is the ones with too much room that rub because the foot moves more. Perhaps try some of those really thin gel pads for straps on your shoes?

Edit- thanks for the tip on the shoes i never considered the toe box might be too big thanks will try those gel party feet things x

2nd edit- i also hadn't seen much ponte knit here in the uk just happened to pop it in the search box on the m and s site and these popped up

3rd edit m and s have a couple of different pairs of ponte knit trousers
