So I thought I would pass by this poncho trend. Then I saw that gorgeous black one by Helmut Lang tagged in Angie's post a bit ago. Sigh. I stalked two on eBay but could not pull the trigger to spend on it. Then I recalled I had a black cable cashmere wrap in my closet that already had a button feature to close it. Figured maybe if I pinned one more section it could pass as a simple poncho. Am I delusional? Does it work? The silhouette is like the helmut Lang version and I'm happy with it if it works I can participate in the trend via shopping my closet, hurrah!
