Sparky, I would always feel a bit funny when I would visit my brother in Boston - oftentimes I would be the only sunnies-sporting person! He still wears them a fair amount, but not like I do.

I think part of it is that I really do have sensitive eyes, and am one of a percentage of people who sneeze when they look at the sun (or eat a strong mint!) But, that is really all just an excuse for insane spending on glasses!

I have an eye appointment this week, so it will be interesting if she suggests a prescription lens. I have sort of a random vision correction so haven't needed to wear them in the past.

Zero, zilch, nada, nil! I must look into getting a pair of prescription sunnies this summer or start wearing contacts. Hmmm... I'm going to the opticians on Wednesday to get my eyes tested for my driving license so I might price a pair of prescription sunglasses then.

Just the one pair, though I should really get a second pair (prescription ones) for driving. My current sunnies are only for walking and sitting at outdoor cafés watching the world go by...

Three pairs. Really, more like 2.5 since one pair is missing an earpiece. I keep them in the car for emergency sunny days. :O

How timely. I just got a new pair of sunnies, but had to return them because they ended up being too big. I like my current Marc Jacobs sunnies just fine, but I am craving some color. The ones I got were purple, in keeping with my purple obsession. Too bad about the size. Anyway, I'm going back to pick a new pair in their place.

And no, I have not broken my shopping ban! They are from my mom's office and I have a credit there that needs to be used. After I get my new pair I will have 2.

3 pairs:

1) 3 year old pair ($5 in vietnam) - all scratched up and the plastic paint is peeling away off the arms. They're getting so worn that I'm begininning to think its time to turf them BEFORE I break/lose them - this rarely happens to me!!!

2) Target pair ($15) that I bought to be my new "good" pair when I realised how scratched up pair 1) was

3) Replacement Target pair purchased on a mega-hot day when I was away on holidays and couldn't find pair 2) and got myself into a tizz thinking I lost them. The next day I found them hiding in my bike helmet - ooops. One pair now sits permanently in my car, in case I forget to bring sunnies along somewhere.

Only 1 - but purely because they are prescription and as other prescription sunnies wearers have mentioned - expensive I would be in so much strife if I lost them though because I don't go outside ever without them on... except at night LOL

But, I LOVE sunnies and am forever trying them on whenever I'm at a shop that sells them... I just wish I could wear contacts or have about 10 pairs of prescription ones LOL

(Oh just realised I do have 2 other pairs in the drawer that were free with magazines or beer or something or other, but not worn because I can't see out of them LOL).

3 pairs all reasonably expensive. Although I wear glasses everyday for most of the year I still managed to keep them good. So the three pairs have been acquired over a few years. I would like a new pair this year, but plenty of other things to come first!

Rosie, I get that sneezing-in-the-sun thing too! For me it's whenever my pupils have to dilate very quickly, I think I inherited it from my dad
