I love boots with sleek lines, but is a pointy toe simply too witchy to be a classic or a workhorse?

I dunno. I don't usually wear 'em but picked up a short boot with medium thin heel and
pointy toe. A lot of people react to them positively. I would say more sexy than witchy.

I have a pair of pointy black suede Stuart Weitzman boots and I love them. Only once did somebody call them "witchy" and it was a clueless classmate at a high school reunion. I think they look sexy, too!

Love!!! I have a pair that I wear under pants. If they fit in the calves I would wear them with skirts. I think the flat heel makes all the difference, with a high heel they might be witchy. Maybe not then either- I think classic and arty depending on how they are styled.

I'm on the fence. I think if they were in any color other than black, it would be an easy answer but black is a bit harder.

The only problem with pointy toes is the way they curl up after a while. I hate that!

I hope to see more opinions on the pointy toe boot. I have a pair of black fabric pointy toed boots with a kitten heel. They are fun to wear, but I am not sure how stylish they really are.

I have a pr. of Carlos Santana pointy toed boots that I wear with straight leg denim and I LOVE them to pieces!!

I think the problem for me is that they are pointed toe and flat. I have pointed toe high-heeled knee-high boots (say that 10 times!) that I got years ago that still look current to my eye. I don't know how I feel about flat ones.... I know that I'm not much help, but that's what I'm thinking.

I think they'd be a classic for someone with edgy/aggressive style, but a more trendy item for someone with classic style, if that makes sense...

From what I've seen of your taste in shoes, I think you could wear those no problem.

Good point about the toes curling up and *then* it looks witchy. Ahahaha. I haven't had pointed toe shoes very often so have no experience with this. I do like the flat pointed toe boots you're showing much better than the ones I got with the heels. I can't think of a single use I might have for those boots and now you have me wanting to go look for some!
