I have kept all my pointy toe shoes except the high heels. I never loved the really high heels, they were purchased when few alternatives were available or I needed a specific color. I kept my mid and low heels and have been wearing them when we head out to dinner, so I have been slowly wearing them out. I have two pairs of DVF sock booties that are a bit edgy, and I wore them recently for cool weather outdoors dining, so I suggest keeping your metallics for fun casual evenings out when it gets a bit cooler.

Oh, and I have been keeping my cowboy boots. Western will roll around again. If nothing else in the meantime they create an instant Halloween look. And I recently wore them to a Western themed charity event.
