Is anyone familiar with this brand? They have many cute styles on Amazon and Zappos (http://www.zappos.com/poetic-l.....1b2166becc) - I think Angie actually had a picture of this pair on her blog but I'm too lazy to look it up!

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about their quality and fit? I'm on SYC but am thinking of shoes once all the snow is gone and I'm off SYC.

I duplicated a pair of PL boots. They are uber comfy and TTS for me. I have these in sandstone and purple.

I had a pair of this brand a few years ago. They were ridiculously high heels and I wore them for about 8 hours on NYE dancing and they were comfortable.

I know the brand bit have never owned a pair. I have looked at these on line and I love them. How long are you on SYC? Shannon I think I need to go on SYC but I am having trouble making the commitment to it

In all honesty Deborah, I'll be lucky if I last a month! I'm not looking to be on SYC for a long period of time - I just need to take a couple of weeks to really go through what I have for spring and early summer since I've purchased/thrifted a fair bit lately, play dress up and see what combinations I can come up with, so that I don't end up with closet orphans or duplicates because I don't know what I have.

But I was going through my closet yesterday and I seriously don't have any colourful shoes which is something I want for spring - so I may have to break SYC for at least one pair of shoes.

I had a pair that I wore into the ground. With my pair, my friend picked them up in the store and tried them on. When I saw them on her, I tried them on. Then another woman sitting across from us had the clerk bring her a pair, which she told us was because they were so adorable on us! They were my go-tos for two years. One day I looked at them (after their third repair and third heel replacement) and realized that if I didn't send them to Goodwill that very day, I would wear them until they were just bits of string hanging on my foot. They were very comfortable to wear and had great style. The overall quality of mine was middling. Still for CPW, they were the best shoes I've bought in years.

Ok....so we all know I'm going to buy a pair of green Poetic Licence shoes...there's no longer any point in pretending. But these question is, which ones? The pumps that I posted or those gorgeous striped ones with the strap that Jem posted and Una commented on? As I check, both of them have heels of 3" - on the high side, but do-able on days I don't have to do a lot of walking. I have had trouble with pumps in the past because I have super narrow heels and they want to slip off, but heel grips have helped in some instances with this. Are the striped ones not as versatile though?

All suggestions welcome...or if you know of any other pretty green shoes I'd love to hear about it.

Hmmmm, I wonder if Una likes the striped ones? I like both of them. I think all of them have a retro vibe that would match your style. I love that they are a bit funky and have fun details. Maybe you can start a "collection" of them!

Since I need to build up a colourful shoe wardrobe (I have either boots/booties or sandals and NOTHING inbetween) I need to start with the pair that is the most versatile - and I think that's the non-striped pumps (I'm sorry Una!). Right now, I think the pumps would go with more things than the striped ones. But it doesn't mean I won't get the striped ones at a later date!
