PMWIW, joining the "real" party.

I haven't posted a WIW forever. One reason is summer...I never feel that great about summer dressing anyway. The other is that I just feel like I don't have much to show. I drool over fabulous looks on others and check WIWs to be inspired or to learn...I don't feel like I have those things to offer to others very often though.

But on the theme of keeping it real, here's my real today. I love my heart blouse, so that's good. Today was a nerve pain day so I wore it with my soft knit wide legs and the end result was a bit pajama-esque. But that's real...for me a lot of times how I can look trumps how I want to look.

Nice to see you Peri! IKWYM about WIWs....I feel the same way but this challenge kind of takes the pressure off, don't you think? Anyway, really cute top and love the matching heart necklace. YLF!

Peri, you are so, so beautiful. I'm sorry that you are in pain. No one would ever guess it. This is the kind of high contrast look that would absolutely obliterate someone with my colouring -- but on you, it is pure heaven. I love it with the echoing necklace.

You have such a beautiful romantic look to you and this is the perfect outfit for that, hearts and all.

I have a dear friend who has severe constant pain from dystonia and dressing around that frustrates her, but what comes through always is her strength and spirit. She could wear a burlap sack and it wouldn't matter. You too, lady!

Thank you for sharing your loveliness with us today. The outfit is interesting because it soft yet strong. Soft shapes (hearts), soft flowing fabrics. Strong colors (black, magenta).
