I have two of these. I originally ordered the black on in large, because it seemed to be drapy enough to handle being too big, but if it's too small, it's too small. It was pretty roomy, so I ordered the red in the medium. I think I prefer the black, however... it's probably more because the black has a jersey knit back on it, so is stretchy, and the red is the same fabric as the front. I think all the plain ones have the jersey backs.
I run between medium and large on most things, depending on brand and fit and amount of drape. Would you like any measurements?
Because I liked these so much, I ordered the long sleeved one, also in medium, and it was returned. All the reviews said to size down, but it was too small on me. It was a very different fit than the short sleeved one, so I don't know if a large would have worked, or not. Two friends also tried it, and neither of them cared for it IRL either - both had liked it online. We all found it kinda blah.
