Pleione Mixed Media Top - advice needed

Hello! I just picked up the Pleione mixed media top over the weekend and have a few questions about it. Do any of you own it? I see that it is 100% rayon and the instructions say hand wash. How does it wash up?

Also, some of the reviews mention wrinkling. Has this been a problem? The tags are still on, so any input will be greatly appreciated.

Suz, that's what's giving me pause, too. I feel like I've seen members wearing this top and I think an earlier version was one of Angie's picks. I just got on my home computer and added a photo. Not sure why I wasn't able to do that with my iPad.

I tried one on, but don't own one. It didn't seem like it would be bad with wrinkles, but I can see why you'd be wary about washing it. That kind of material can sometimes shrink up terribly. You just never know. Hope someone can chime in with experience.

No idea but I LOVE this top. Have been looking for something in the brick and mortar stores here.

I don't own this top but usually rayon gets stiff and wrinkly when wet and may scare you, but it goes back to normal when air dried and ironed. (It will probably need to be ironed unless you like a wrinkly, shrunken look.) I usually hang the wet item and use men's clip pant hangers to clip on the bottom to weight it as it dries. This gets rid of most of the wrinkles and shrinkage.

I've machine-washed my version of the mixed media top (Splendid) but it does get very wrinkled and need to be ironed. For that reason, I don't wear the tops as often as I like

I have this top, I machine wash in a lingerie bag and hang dry. Then I steam out the wrinkles. But I'm a bit addicted to my steamer.

I have this in the version from Splendid (with a slightly different hemline). I think I machine washed and even put it in the dryer on low. I purchased mine in an M (a little large for me) so if there was any shrinking, I didn't notice. Yes it wrinkles badly but the wrinkles relax when you hang the garment. Wish I could do that with the wrinkles on my face.

LOL Denise! You are cracking me up! I did notice that mine was a little wrinkled when I took it out of the bag and they fell out once I hung it in the closet. Oh, if only we could do that for faces - we would be millionaires!
