Please tell me this looks terrible...

and doesn't work on me at all, and then please remind me that it's Christmas, and yes, it was only $100, but that's a lot when there are Christmas presents to buy, not to mention shoes and jewelry to go with my holiday party outfit...

well, you could ask someone to generously gift it to you for the holidays? Or just go shopping in your closet for the shoes and jewelry?? It's a lovely coat, don't part ways with it!

I agree. You should keep the coat, especially if you like the quality: it looks great on you, and coats are (I think) more important than holiday party accoutrements. (How many times will you wear the one compared to the other?)

What a beautiful colour. I agree with Stephanie you'll get more wear from a coat than holiday party bling, can you shop your closet or a friends for party accessories? Angie may chime in later and throw you a spanner as it's double breasted and those are tricky to wear not sure why because I think this looks good x

Gotta agree...it's a keeper for sure! You will get a lot of use from it, so factor in the cost-per-wear...besides, Santa would want you to have and enjoy it....

*sigh* You are not helping. You're right Louise...there is always hope that Angie will throw me a spanner. If not, I have two returns that will get me $70 towards the cost of this, so maybe it's not so bad. It would be really nice to have a great coat to make all my winter outfits look pulled together.

Barbara, I think this is actually the Miss Sixty purple coat with pleats that Beth has. I was drawn to it by the color when I spotted it at the Rack.

AAAH! I just returned it. It looks so good on you, but I could not get it over my shoulders, even though I am a petite size 4! Lucky lucky you. By all means keep it.

Barbara, I am also tall with broad shoulders, and the medium fits me comfortably. I'd order both sizes to be safe.

AG, I thought about you when I tried it on because I know you mentioned it didn't fit you in the shoulders. I wonder if the problem is only with the petites? Either that or my shoulders aren't as broad as I've always thought, or they shrank...

Oh, I was confused. Sorry. But if you like this one, you might see if you can get it from the Rack somehow. I had no trouble whatsoever with the shoulders.
