Hi Inge! I actually have a link to share, although the story is from Aug. 8. It says that Ann Curry may have been fired by the Today Show because of the way she dressed -- and interestingly, the way she wanted to dress was the way a lot of us here want to dress. In color and in low heels.

The Colorist proclaims that people tend to dress in the palette of their environments. He analyzed Paris, noticed the stronger colors of the bistro signs but missed this:

What I want to know is why they're not following the real architectural elements of the wedding cake style. ;D

Besides the fact that the article equates being fatter with being curvaceous what troubles me more is that one way or the other media is always trying to create an image of the perfect women/body.
What is so wrong with the concept of diversity, I ask?

This outfit on the Sartorialist spoke to me not because it's one that I want to wear, but because it looks sensational worn with flat loafers. The look is edgier and "new" than if it had been worn with high heels. Refreshing!
