I got this update from my Fitbit pedometer page on Facebook. Apparently Fitbit is teaming with Nine West to embed their trackers in model's special boots for a charity cause. http://fashion.elle.com/access.....r-charity/ I want my own pair of boots that fits the Fitbit! Although it's small, I still try and find ways to hide it, especially when I'm wearing a dress and no pockets or waistband.

I found this site by accident but found it rather interesting I'm sure that I'm not the only one that looks in the mirror and sees one thing but others say they see something totally different. This site shows you what others with your aprox. height, weight, shape, etc look like, it shows you how others may see you. When I look at the pics I realized that I would never think that these women were chunky, needed to lose a few more pounds etc so why should I listen to that little voice in the back of my head saying those things about me?!

Angie, you don't have to post this because I mentioned it on the forum already, but here it is just in case:

I caught a radio interview with fashion designer and biologist Anke Domaske the other day talking about her fashion designs, which are made from a fabric that she and her team designed that is primarily composed of a protein from sour milk. (Apparently, the finished product has a texture/feel very similar to silk. It looks beautiful from what I can see from the video.) What a fascinating concept!

This particular entry on a blog I started reading recently, is about the fashion transition when you retire. I have not retired but am working from home instead of going to an office every day so it was helpful to me. The best part? "You know that saying "Work like you don't need the money, love like your heart has never been broken, dance like no one is watching?" Add "Dress like your house is somewhere special.

I thought this would be a fun follow-up to the link you posted last week to Advanced Style. It's a short film about a few of the ladies that are featured on the blog regularly. I love how confident they are, how apparent it is that they are still having fun with fashion every day and that it really is about how you decide to wear a piece, regardless of what anybody else thinks.
