The technical challenges involved in a new set of sizes are much vaster than I realized. The patterns have to come from somewhere; it's not a matter of just making existing patterns bigger (or shorter). And that's only the pattern-making aspect.

So glad to see Link Love again. I wanted to add this link last week and almost couldn't find it again.

It describes a retailer, but also a website with related Pinterest pages, that addresses 4 levels of formality of office wear, from (1) jeans to (4) suits, with a page of inspiration pics for each. Since neither of the 2 extremes suits (haha) me or my workplace needs, I love having a ton of (2) work-worthy pants-and-top or (3) other separates-based looks to inspire me.

I love this thread Inge such a great idea.

Here is mine. I am a visual lover of fashion meaning I love the pictures as much as reading and this is a tumbler page but the African Fashion of everyday life gets me and the pictures are stunning. Ginger being a plus size petite woman myself I understand the struggle thank you for the great read they were long as heck but very well done. I know that the patterns to create must be very difficult. I think that is why I started at first with tailoring outfits to fit my 18 petite then went to custom made. It just made sense for my budget and body.

L'Abeille I don't work in any of those environments but it was a good read. If ever or weekend looks for me.
