A fun article from the WSJ about how cargo shorts are way out of style for men but women are having a hard time convincing them. It resonated with me because I tried a few pairs of cargo capris earlier this summer and decided I really don't like them. My DH has only one or two pairs of these and I don't mind them.

This is one of my favorite blogs and I like her series on Parsing Trends.
I'm interested in the meanings communicated by clothes and in other parts of the series, such as on brocade, she reaches back to the historical roots of the trend.
