This shows the minefield a US company has to navigate in these charged political times. Lands' End's catalog featured equality advocate (and legend in the truest sense) Gloria Steinem with a 4-page interview with CEO Frederica Marchioni. After complaints from some religious people they apologized and scrubbed all mention of Ms. Steinem and the Equal Rights Coalition from their website, which angered many more who are long-time fans of Ms. Steinem and equality.
