I really liked this "Conscious Shopping Guide" with the Zero-Waste Buying diagram because it moves the emphasis away from buying - it doesn't list stores and brands but instead gives you a template to work with.

I was charmed by the idea that our sense of a decade's fashions can relate to a time of day, She sees the 70's as a Studio 54 time of day but what do people wear to work? Why, it's right there in the Charlie ads.
It's funny because she names a few and I only remembered one, a different one, and when I mentioned this to my friend, she remembered yet another. I enjoyed Google imaging Charlie perfume ad and looking at all the clothes. I think I was profoundly affected by the model striding across the "imaginary puddle" because I like clothing lookbooks or catalogs best when they show women striding confidently.

I am always struggling with the tall boot dilemma, as are most ladies. I stumbled across these boots and found the story and the boots very interesting. I haven't tried them yet--but love that they are totally customizable!

I love the idea of incorporating my love of books into my fashion statements. Now, am I bbrave enough to do this - to wear something unique *and* draw attention to my legs? Are you? Does this seem like a good idea, or just way over the top?
