No problem!
I stumbled upon this at Real Simple. Looks like even the fashion un aware and un interested are getting a dose of useful advice! It's old hat to most of us, but wise words to its less fashion oriented audience http://www.realsimple.com/beau.....index.html
Anna, I found that too funny. Talk about the idea of 'trying too hard'! The idea that my fave band will no longer be my fave if my friends now like them too is very odd to me. Sounds very UNhip to have to search for ever more obscure things to seal your cool identity, no? Interesting . . .
I really enjoyed Cynthia's post about how to pose in a flattering (and natural!) manner for WIW photos. I like that she not only provides detailed descriptions of how to pose but also gives explanations for WHY these poses work. I am trying to work her tips into not only my WIW photo sessions but also my everyday life to improve my admittedly poor posture.
Found this link on ViviennesFile. This definitely takes the boring out of classic! It has reinforced to me the importance of fit, colors (your most flattering), and proportions --- and not chasing the latest trend if it doesn't suit you.
What do you think of actors on the catwalk?
I adore Tim Roth and Gary Oldman, so I very much enjoyed the Prada menswear show (Fall 2012) where both actors and a few other famous gents made an appearance.
I'll choose the post above; I loved her entire blog as it inspired me to dress my best without driving me into a frenzy of shopping -- an impulse that has been getting the best of me lately!
