http://unefemme.net/ wrote a post "is chic passe?" Merriam- Webster defines chic as "smart elegance and sophistication especially of dress or manner." This resonates with me as chic is definitely something I aspire toward.
Oh darn - I was going to post about the "is chic passe" post as well. I have a hard time defining chic and she really helped. It has also annoyed me that people out there in the blogging world use the word however they want...cute? trendy? But I always thought it was something different entirely...
I don't know why I keep being surprised by inequality in fashion, or anywhere else.
You'd think "nude" lingerie for people of any skin tone would be mor readily available, but at least that's changing now. Happy to see this lingerie line specifically for women of colour.
