I second her link. I've been reading 1000 post threads over at mumsnet where they'd been working with that method and stunned at their successes.
I started with my books - which for *me* are far easier than clothes :D. I
don't have all that many after a major purge years ago. One that I found that I did want to keep has a part that I couldn't find on the net unfortunately. It's by Theodore Isaac Rubin, Overcoming Indecisiveness, and when I reread his material on why one decision is rarely better than another, I got the point of her method. He says that deciding is about being alive in the here and now and whatever decision we make, we ourselves make work because we invest ourselves in it. "Every time we commit ourselves to our own choice, we affirm the biggest decision of all, the decision to live."
