I always enjoy reading everyone's weekly links and I'm excited to finally have one of my own to share!

I found this through a crafting website, but have been using it to create outfits when I'm uninspired. It's a huge list of color palettes based off of photos. You can search by subject, season and color.
It's been a huge help since I have no natural eye for color and usually stick to neutrals to be safe. I hope it helps someone else too!

This is a really fascinating post on how this indie designer completely redesigned a pair of vintage shoes. I love seeing how things get made and how the creative process informs design decisions, and this post has it in spades!

Quirky short video in which American designers in 1939 predict fashion trends for 2000. They were not quite spot on, but I l love this type of black and white retro film footage anyhow. And look at that white pantsuit, it looks positively modern and has a harem pants vibe going on.

Imogen's take on the 8 Heads Tall body proportions prompted me to get out the tape measure. Who knew I had longer calves? I always thought they were stumpy. Also made sense that weight gained shows up more where you are shorter.
