Imogen Lamport posts a clever technique in her helpful video How to Style a Waterfall Cardigan. I have avoided wearing my waterfall cardigan (even though it is a soft cashmere mix in a luscious color) because I feel swamped in the extra fabric, and silly just tying the ends in the front.

These web pages show pictures of street style taken on the streets of Kensington, England, in 1906 by photographer Edward Linley Sambourne. I thought it was amazing to see pictures of women going about their daily lives in garb that is so different from our own. They look all dressed up, but this was just normal everyday wear. I also thought it was amazing to see how tiny their waists are from their corseting.

Hi Inge,

In this Sunday's "Los Angeles Times" Image section (magazine form on the first Sunday of each month) 7 September 2014, there was an interesting article on the new Style Thief app, which allows shoppers to snap a photo of something you've admired on someone else, but can't seem to find in stores or online. Created by Samantha Russ and backed by Kate Bosworth, the app then searches in real time to find an item that's an exact match or very similar.

Here's the link, and I wish I knew how to embed it here with only a single word, but I haven't been able to master that yet.

Here's a great article from Slate abut why you should dress up (or at least not dress way way down) for travel. It's written from a man's perspective but I swear this sentence could have been written by our Angie: "When we dress well for travel, we are not only making ourselves look good; we’re also signaling that we are invested in making this shared experience pleasant for everyone around us."
