A lot of our forum members are trying to minimize their buys to keep their wardrobes from overflowing, by fighting lemming tendencies. I think this article in stylecaster resonates with the situation. I found the reminder tips very helpful. I also think it doesn't apply to only 'expensive' items.

I read that article about Nina last week when it was in the Journal. I thought the same thing. ...matronly. However, I get it. So many of today's beautiful clothes don't function for working women....too short, too tight, too flashy.

Nina's colors are nice for older faces...no black! She offers great fabrics that are packable. It seems like her stores could be one stop shopping for busy professional women.

It seems to me that there is still an opening in the fashion biz for another company like McLemore's ...one with a younger vibe.

Imogen's Lamport's blog on buying a sports bra mentioned charities such as Uplift, which accept gently used bra donations in Australia, NZ, Singapore and South Africa. A search for similar charities in the US lead to the non-profit Free The Girls which helps women rescued from sex trafficking to earn income from selling donated bras. There has been a history of clothing donations in Africa upsetting the local clothing economy, and I hope bras wouldn't be a problem. Sounds like great inspiration for a summer lingerie drawer clean out.

I just enjoyed the heck out of this article about the backpack. (I adore them - drooling over Angie's new white one - but they're not comfortable for me to wear)

I thought this was an interesting idea: Use Google image search to match items that are difficult to match in your wardrobe. The video is geared to menswear, but can be applied to women!

That lifehacker tip is one I use constantly, particularly with keep/purge.
Only problem with women's clothes is that when you type "women", they
include the "men" part of the word. I also do this with Pinterest and the reason he probably doesn't is Pinterest is female-user heavy.
