I just noticed this online today and am sharing the sad news that fashion designer, L'Wren Scott, died. The article shows some beautiful fashion photos and makes note of her being the first-ever style director for the Academy Awards.

Came across some wisecrack recently about everyone who's wearing a black turtleneck as if she were thinking she was Juliette Greco and I recognized only the name.
Seems like she might have been the original Left Bank girl, the original gamine.

Here is a clever DIY with bleaching a thrifted pale-blue denim jacket into a white jacket from The Renegade Seamstress. She also cropped the length by cutting and resewing the bottom band.
