I liked two things about this post. The way she has decided that scroll shapes represent her style and is extending that to the motifs in her clothing (teardrop = one scroll) as well as purse shape. The 10 point accessory system. I couldn't find this anywhere else but have seen various versions throughout the years. Sheri Braendel has 16 points (but counts shoes as 2 points ), old textbook also has 16 point accessory rule but considers as standard items we don't wear anymore like gloves (except for Diane Keaton and the Lolitas).
I liked her system - illustrated within post on picture - because it emphasizes focal points of interest. Like the pancake sole on shoes would be an extra detail point, or the extreme peak of a shoulder. Fun!
ETA: I've been thinking over accessories (or not) and the idea I have been overlooking is (multiple?) focal point. Duh. I think this system will help me sort out my feelings on the subject.
