Janice Riggs of The Vivienne Files shows how replacing the buttons on a wool cardigan from wood to bone changes the look from rustic to streamlined. Of course you might go the other direction as well. This is a quick and easy fix, but I'd like to add the warning that it might lead to the enticing garden path of flattering wardrobe alterations.

Since I have one for this week, maybe this is a possibility for next week. If I don't post it to you now, I'll forget about it by Monday. Some of these dangers are obvious but I didn't think of jewelry and clothing as containing dangerous chemicals.

This is not a new article but is the only one I found that explains this fact:

I almost fell over in disbelief when my friend assured me that we could wear girls shoe sizes. Sometimes known as big kids sizes. Not only can you wear them and they are often a bit cheaper but they actually fit my foot better. If you look at Nordstrom you will see big girls shoes made by Steve Madden, Michael Kors, Jessica Simpson, Burberry's (those are bracingly expensive).
There are mostly round toes but I've seen some pointed ones and there are also some selections of low and mid heels around. (I bought a girls size 6 leopard print flat with black "patent" cap toe)

I've never tried it myself, but it certainly gives us more options, Vildy, and I'm all for that!
