NERD ALERT...
SONY pictures* is releasing "Little Women" on Blu-Ray, and they selected four YouTubers who are vintage girls, to re-create the March sisters. I found this video today, because I follow Rachel Maksy, who recreated Jo's costume from scratch, and completely out of recycled/repurposed materials!

(*let me note, I have not watched the film, and I'm not promoting SONY in any way. No affiliation there. But I can't wrap my head around all the cool concepts of textile repurposing, creating these costumes from scratch, and basically 'making do')
The links to the other three March girls are in the notes. I am on the second video (Amy), and I feel I have already learned so much about fashion history. Particularly the "transformation gown", which is a concept I've always practiced, and never realized.
