The Slate one is so great... I hadn't noticed that about her before but once you see a roundup of all the photos you see that it's really a thing with her! It has never occurred to me to drape a coat over my shoulders, like, even once in my life.

Hi Inge it's another gloom-and doom story about fashion retail in NZ I'm afraid. I know of the woman quoted, she runs a plus-size brand which was the first ever plus-size brand to show at NZ Fashion Week in 2009 ( but never again, I note). I thought the article was interesting.

One that I shared in a separate thread: the fascinating process of The Met researching and redesigning a Degas ballerina sculpture’s skirt to suit the original intent of the artist. (I had no idea it was originally wax and was cast in bronze many years after Degas’ death!) A wonderful video here.
