Here's the NY Times Best Underwear Review for 2024. Have to agree that Tommy John rocks! Those are the knickers I wear, although a prettier version with a bit of lace. Well worth the price. Fits, lasts, looks good, feels good, and launders well.
Roberta, thanks for the link to the matchy-matchy essay. I avoid matching a bag to shoes, although it happens sometimes with black. I couldn’t explain it myself but she has done a wonderful job illustrating the difference. In my opinion, this should be a must read!
This video on "Stop Idolizing Coco Chanel: a shocking history of theft" was a fascinating watch. It's not sensationalistic but is very well researched. (The author is an acquaintance of mine - I highly respect her scholarship - but I stumbled across the video by accident.)
