I love proportion and silhouette and I was inspired by Alyssa Beltempo's analysis of several runways' offerings in these terms, calling out the features but also matching ideas from her own wardrobe. Palette, too.
It helps me personally when someone tells me where to look to pick up the pattern/template, the way Angie often does with her outfit forumula examples D

Not to slight slender looking women but I always admire a good-looking stout woman like the actress Sada Thompson. One of my favorite songs is Paths of Desire and I imagined the singer as Margaret Dumont serendading Groucho. How startled I was to attend a live performance and glimpse the tiniest little birdlike woman with a huge voice.

but as someone who is willing to pay more for items made in the US, assuming that part of what I am paying for is better wages this was disheartening to read. Yes, I know that this is not the 1st time this has been reported, but each time I think we’ll companies will learn, because they are getting caught and getting bad press, but it seems to be an on going issue

I knew labor violations were bad but they do know no decency - enslaving Thai workers! There are not words bad enough to describe these business conditions other than "evil".

BTW, forgot to add that the interesting thing about Paltrow's "soft power" wardrobe is Where is the power? In the fabulously extravagant price tags of her simple attire, which has been analyzed day by day in media all over the fashion world. $25,000 simplest little necklace? You could order one, too!

That report is scary! I am working towards buying way fewer items. First quarter of this year: two. It would still be 8 for the year if continued at the same rate.
