I enjoy this kind of article, that seems premised on a lot of civil trials
being a kind of hyped-up social media event which are less about who wins and pays damages and the fortunes of the litigants going forward in terms of their endorsements, opportunities, future work.
This one is about two WAGS - Wives and Girlfriends of famous sports stars. It acknowledges it doesn't expect the judge/justice to be influenced but in its amused descriptions of their court appearance clothing it reminds me a lot of Hollywood costuming chores.
