Inge, I continue to be influenced by this podcast about the concept of "the average". This is a wonderful podcast that will blow up the concept, if you have it, that there is an "average" body type to which you do not conform.

Well so I love to Google all kinds of stuff.
I Googled YLF videos and I see Angie. I've never heard Angie's voice so I was curious. It turns out it was nothing like I thought but her energy and vivacious spirit easily translate.

Coach and Kate Spade...this should be interesting. I have many old Coach bags but haven't been interested in their offerings the last few years, especially the logo-heavy bags. I don't have any Kate Spade bags, but do admire them.

So, I read the article on
Fressange and couldn't help but notice the very close up "real" photo of her near the end and I wondered - has she stayed out of the sun all these years or not? If I look at her and First Lady Marcon side by side I'd say they look similar in age and both look as if they have spent a fair amount of time IN the sun sans sunscreen. Not being critical about they way they look but just wondering if sunscreen is helping anyone stay smooth skinned because it is not doing all that much to stop skin cancer it seems. I had to look it up of course and found this article stating Ines has used "sun protection cream" most of her life.

Texstyle, Ines doesn't look to me like she has much sun damage, but you know it's only relatively recently that sunscreens contain significant UVA protection, which causes aging but not burns, so probably people such as myself were enjoying relaxing at the beach, feeling protected from burns, but picking up lots of damage nevertheless.

Aquamarine - Yes! Interesting news. I love Kate Spade bags, and was thinking I should take a closer look at Coach
Texstyle - I can't see the article you linked to, but did see the pictures in Lisa's article > I'm not sure, but I was thinking along the same lines as what Scarlet wrote. Sunscreens have evolved a lot over the last decades, and we may have picked up quite a bit of damage in the earlier years (I'm 46, FWIW).
Great article, La Pedestrienne, thank you. I used to order from Etsy regularly some years ago, and then, for no particular reason really, stopped. I want to change that, and start looking for more unique and fun pieces on the site again.
