ND - oh wow! Is Paul Frank next?? :o)

Nuance and Nemos, good heavens, what did I miss? That piece makes so many references to how bad the brand was in the 00s. What are they talking about? I truly have no idea.

FI, Ed Hardy represents, at least for me, garish slogan t-shirts with prices jacked up to the stratosphere. Frankly, you didn't miss much. I always associate Ed Hardy with Paris Hilton and Britney Spears as mentioned in the article. Ed Hardy may be making a comeback due to a resurgence of maximalism in fashion. I'm just deleting that look from my brain once again.

I’m always impressed by how very good fabbers manage to look in OOTD/WIW posts, when you consider they are doing a phone selfie without a lot of editing (like Instagram influencers and some bloggers.) Turns put editing is not new! Not even 20th century!

Nuancedream, thanks for sharing! Impressive creations and powerful message!

If you're still collecting links, here's some happy news from Canada: the beaded dress worn by our new Governor General (the Queen's official representative). Worn for her installation as our first Indigenous GG.

Yes, still taking links, thanks so much, L'Abeille (amazing about that wonderful dress!) and everyone else who has been adding these fab links.
The next Link Love post is going to be a meaty one, I love it

Summer Trends
I love the idea of the Revenge Dress, and I already have my own version of it!

Chewy, “personal style seems to be on the menu this summer and trends are a fun afterthought.” Amen to that!
But then they list too many trends for me to keep track of which I’m doing and which I am not.

Thanks Nuance. That was when I was in grad school, so I missed it. Sounds like I don’t need to be upset about that!

If I'm not too late - here is story about the Liberian Olympic team's wardrobe. Hopefully there won't be a paywall.

This just came to my inbox - https://www.vogue.com/article/.....=VOG_Daily

Vogue considers the bodily changes that the pandemic life (not the illness) caused, and how that reality clashes with going back to the office.

"... we are entrusted to take care of the earth and to look after it, and that means to be obviously environmentally conscious and not harm the environment and subsequently all the beings that live on it," Beautiful, ethical, and sustainable fashion for Muslim consumers and Eid al-Adha.

Fun trends indeed, Chewy (would love to see your version of the revenge dress if you'd care to share it;-)

Not too late at all Sloper, I have personally reached my maximum articles on the website, but that's OK.

That's a good one, Roberta.

WOW, Andrea, just stunning, and a goal more companies should strive for.

Thank you all for your excellent links!

Don't know whether this is a free read (or free with registration) or not
but it shows what it's like for people who seek out the same scarcity
conditions as often apply for NAS items. And the people who cater to them, either as hobbyists or for profit. Quite unlike Angie's philosophy of being content to wait for the next opportunity if need be.

Thanks Vildy, looks like it's free with registration, so not sure if we can use it. Will check with Angie.

I subscribe now but used to just have a registration that came with a free premium article per week. They never bothered me in any way.

Salty language, but really fricking funny, especially to this GenX’er.
I still have some statement necklaces.

That's good to know, thanks Vildy.
Anna - I saw this pop up in my YT stream and have been meaning to click on it, so thanks for linking to it here. Hi-la-rious!!-))))
