Good article, nemosmom! I am not on social media, so have some insulation from those triggers, but unfortunately, YLF can be an unwanted trigger for me, due to posts and Finds. Always have to balance that.
Last year I made both very good purchases for things for outdoor activities and cold weather, but also some emotional ( not using Angie’s “ good “ emotion intent). Not terrible, and they’re things I will wear, just more in sense of not being realistic about how often I can wear things. But, still have a lot of upcoming milder weather, and so will see.
This year so far I feel more like I don’t need things for awhile , ( except I do have a list!) maybe because of the useful things I did get, but also , though very tired of pandemic, it’s not as much of a roller- coaster as last year, and there’s more hope. But, since still won’t have anything truly going on socially for months yet, I feel more motivated to wait to see the “ new times, new me” that might emerge in 6-12 months and may need ( want!) things that have different fits or styles than I could imagine right now.
