Please help with this sweater.

Hi everyone. My future MIL gave me what looks to be the perfect fisherman cable knit sweater for Christmas. Except for one small detail. I think it's a bit too big. Unfortunately, my Belk (or any around me) doesn't have any in a size small.

So, what do you think? Does it look too big? I have the sleeve pulled down all the way in the second pic to show how long it is. The length of the body doesn't bother me. And i love the color (it's Sand).

If it's too big, then i have a huge favor to ask of anyone who has a Belk near by. If you are in there shopping, is there a chance you can see if it's there in a small. If it's there, I'll gladly pay for the sweater and shipping.

I like extra long sleeves on my chunky sweaters...adds to the cozy factor. For me, this one fits well.

How does it fit from the side? It seems a little long but in a cozy sense, like Carter said, not in a tons of extra fabric sense. I think it looks nice, but then I'm petite and many of my sweaters fit like this!

I really like it - agree with the above comments, the slightly longer sleeves adds to the feeling of cozy. The neckline is really flattering and stops you from looking "overwhelmed" by the jumper (if that makes sense). I'd keep it!

I don't think it looks too big at all, I think it looks like it fits perfectly. I also like longer sleeves on sweaters. I think this size is the keeper!

I like the fit. You can scrunch the sleeves or turn back the cuffs if the length bothers you.

Late to the party here, just chiming in to agree that I think it looks great on you, just gently oversized, which is supposed to be very current. I say keep.

I think Rachy is seeing that it is too short to wear tunic style with leggings. Also not loose enough/ cut right for that look from what I can tell. It is a bit difficult for me to judge what the fit is supposed to be on this style.

It definitely doesn't look too big to me. The shoulders seem right (if not a bit snug...unless my eyes deceive me.) Scrunch the sleeves, and wear it faux tucked with the welt above a belt, a la Angie. See what you think of the sizing that way?

Not too big at all. Looks great. Scrunch the sleeves. In fact, I may have even sized you up for a more fashionable slouchy look.

Suz, I'm having a problem with that as well. I'm not sure if it's suppose to be oversized or not.

Angie, I would have never thought of sizing up. I'll have to run out and check if the store still has the large.
