Please help me find RED skirt and blazer

Yes, I am on SYC, but I am going to return some other items that have gone unworn, and I will then have enough money to buy a red skirt and a red blazer. I know I will really love both items, if I get the right style and fit, of course. I am open to red pants as well, but I doubt that I will find any that are long enough. I need 35" plus inseam and retailers seem to only carry the long lengths in the non-specialty items.

I have seen TONS of red items in magazines (at very high price-points, of course), but I haven't seen much in the stores or on store websites. But maybe I am just not looking in the right places! I have looked at Nordstrom and Macy's (in person and online), as well as the websites for Ann Taylor, Ann Taylor Loft, J. Crew, Anthropologie, The Limited, Banana Republic, Gap, and Old Navy (and probably a few others that I am forgetting). No such luck! There was a cute red blazer on nordstrom.com, but it was only available in a Large and I usually wear a Small.

Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated!

here's a quickie search on shopstyle.com for red skirts. you can narrow by skirt length and price point.

perhaps you could describe a bit more about what you want in the skirt and jacket. did you want a suit???

Thanks to all who have responded thus far!

Clarification - I am not looking for a suit, but rather separates to wear at different times. I have a fairly casual lifestyle, so I don't really have a need for a suit, but if I did find one I liked, I would probably almost always wear the pieces separately.

I like the blazer shape of jackets, but am open to more eclectic styles, as well as alternate materials. As an example of something I like, I got the following jacket in dark orange at NAS and LOVE and wear it often: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/am.....ltback=684 (they call the color I got "red ochre," but it is orange, not red). This jacket is a more classic style, but the material is a stretchy cotton, not your traditional blazer material.

As for skirts, I like lots of different styles. I don't like anything too clingy (I like straight skirts better than the pencils that go in at the bottom) or too flared, but most everything in between can work. I like the to the knee length or a bit above, but also like the currently in vogue midi length. I am willing to try most anything on, but if I am ordering online, I prefer to stick to what I know is likely to work.

HI!--also looking for red, but having some trouble finding the right color and style. Have you looked at Talbots. com?? They have a red blazer, and skirt that you might like and they have many sizes... They also have a different red jacket and a pair of cropped pants in red. Not sure if you will like any of these, but since you didn't name Talbots as a place you had looked, thought I'd suggest it....Good luck, and I hope you find something-- and post it if you do!

Le Chateau has a bunch of red on sale.

None of the Talbots pieces I want are available online in my size (in red) and I saw none in my store. I saw the Express fall ad and it was all red, but I haven't shopped at Express since I was in my early 20's. Can I still? What is their sizing like? Are they still part of the Limited/Victoria chain? I recall the quality not being great, but that was 20+ years ago so a lot could have changed.

Here's my plan... I'm going to go to the mall this week to try Talbot's and Express and look at Nordstrom and Macy's again (you never know...). I also bookmarked some items I like online (Asos, Urban Outfitters, Piperlime). If I don't find anything in person, I will try my luck with ordering online.
