Please Help Me Figure Out My Season? Is a blonde winter possible?

You are such a beautiful girl! I'm seeing Soft Autumn, peacefulpearl. It's easy to confuse a Soft season with some type of Winter. Your eye color is soft and your coloring does not contrast sharply enough for you to be a Winter. Soft Autumns can wear rich, velvety colors that look quite elegant. I'm voting Nay on you being any type of Winter.

I'm thinking soft autumn as well. Your coloring seems too warm to be winter. I just recently decided I am a soft autumn. Here's my post:

Mmm...you aren't the high contrast of a winter. I see your photos and I think soft too. I am not sure from the colour of the photos whether you skew warmer or cooler.

Hi Peacefulpearl! its so hard to tell on the monitor- each of your photos is taken in a different lighting, and I'm not sure that any are close enough to true "natural" daylight conditions that are the most reliable for this sort of analysis.

I had heard about this rare Blonde Winter colouring but I had never seen any examples until I looked it up just now. I noticed right away that the post subject has unusually dark blue irises, with "whites" that are very clean and bright. So, her eyes already have the dramatic high contrast that you would expect from a Winter. Your eyes look paler than that - but that could just be an overexposure of the photo, of course. Here's a pic of Elizabeth Taylor who was famed for her eye colour. Photos of her are rarely in the most natural lighting, but you get the idea of the eye colour that "pops" with black

Just as a quick guide, if you are not a Winter, black eye makeup can give your skin a touch of goth, i.e. it will exaggerate the whiteness of your skin/drain the blush from your face - a heavy foundation look. It can also drain the blue out of pale blue eyes and make the blue look more "watery". A Winter person can usually wear black eye-makeup without any loss of healthy facial colour or eye colour intensity - see Elizabeth Taylor again.

Really, really tough to tell with the photos. You need natural light. It IS possible to be a blonde winter. But not very common.

Interesting the others see soft autumn. I would say you are cool-toned vs. warm. So you see, our monitors may be telling us different things.

Is it possible you are a cool summer?

Thank you so much for all of the feedback. It is very helpful. I now can see that its not at all possible that I'm a winter. I do believe I'm a soft season and I'm thinking warm, although I feel fairly neutral. Here are a couple of pictures of me in good sunlight. I do believe they show that I am definitely warmer than cooler. Can soft autumns ever look good with brown hair? I feel that my blonde washes me out a bit. Thank you!

I'm fairly sure I'm a soft autumn, and I color my hair brown--I think it looks 10000x better than blonde (my natural color) on me. You look great with both colors of hair.

Thank you Ariadne! If you don't mind me asking, what shade of brown do you color your hair? It seems like many shades of brown would be too overpowering?

For what it's worth you look like an autumn to me it's all in the eye color & skin tone.

I use Tints of Nature in Medium Natural Brown. For the first 1-2 weeks after coloring it's very dark, and then after that I have a good 1.5-2 months of an excellent neutral medium brown. Then I re-dye, mostly due to roots. I could be wrong about it looking better on me than blonde but I got really good feedback here when I initially dyed it, and I definitely prefer it!

I think you are a Spring. Because of your eye colour and skin tone. BTW you are so beautiful. I know that Springs often have a hard time finding themselves because they can easily wear colours from the other seasons, but not a full palette of either. Look at this Spring description:

Hi Krishnidoux, Thank you for your response. =] Spring is the season I never really thought I could be because I don't feel that my coloring is clear, warm, or light. I feel that my coloring is more muted and kind of mousy compared to springs. I may be wrong though. What variety of spring are you thinking I would fall under? I would be interested to reconsider...

I read once that if your veins appear greenish, you're warm (spring or fall) and if they appear blue/purple-ish, you're cool (summer or winter). On the people I've asked (which, admittedly, is not very many), it seems to hold true.

Anyway, that might narrow it down.
