I'm terrible at this game, but I just wanted to say that I've always admired your style tremendously - it's simple, clean, chic...I want to be you when I'm almost 60!

Hi Ms P --

Glad I could entertain the masses a bit -- now where's my Blithe Cosmopolitan cocktail?!

I stand by the adjectives, too. I see you as a Noel Coward heroine, circa 2013 staging.

Haven't read the comments yet, but the words that come to mind immediately are elegant, modern and sophisticated. Parsley, you style totally resonates with me and there are few outfits of yours that wouldn't wear myself. I am wondering if you are infact and trendy, elegant eclectic. I see more trend in your style than my own but really do relate to your style.

You are a great exemple of a modern, Classic , sophisticated style! Loved!

What came to my mind:

"... Navigates the trends with taste and flair."

I know the word "trendy" can be seen as negative, so I didn't use it. But I really noticed how on-trend you look, but done with a lot of grace and not looking the least foolish.

Ooh, I love Blithe Cosmopolitan!

And you don't think you're trendy, Ms. Cobalt leather jacket, Kimono jacket, Citron blouse and B44 striped tank? Trendy is a good thing! Who wants to be fusty? I would say I want to be like you when I grow up to be your age, but actually I would love to dress like you do, right now! I'm bookmarking this thread because I love all of your outfits!

PS that red bag in #4, what is it? It's to die for!

Wow, I also wasn't able to define my style till date, so will read all the suggestions here, as there isn't one outfit I don't like, and some of them are pretty much available in my closet, too!

I prefer no. 20 one is good

I love your style Parsley and gain inspiration from it. It makes interesting reading to see the descriptors other members have come up with. "Effortless" springs to my mind.

Parsley, yes! Brighter and clear colors look better on you while muted mid-tones work better for me. I also think you're a bit more trendy, and I have a soft spot for boho (which you don't).

Other than those differences, our styles are very close.

Oh, and I'll have a Blithe Cosmopolitan, too!

What ever your style descriptors are, I LOVE them. Each outfit here is stunning. It's interesting to read everyone's opinion, I would say you are modern classic with a twist of trendy.

Wow! Thank you all for your helpful and very kind comments!
Susie- that's so sweet! Don't be hard on yourself- you dress with verve and style!

Sarah A- Hmm, I'm wondering what it is about the outfit with the blue jacket that seems different to you?

Sarah- aww, thank you!

Vix- Cheers!
I love the idea of being a Noel Coward heroine!

Deborah, I'm flattered by "trendy, elegant eclectic". That's a style I'd like to aspire to.
I'm surprised that you find my style more trendy than yours! I think of you as quite avant-garde, but maybe that's not quite the same thing. Whatever it is, I LOVE your style.

Rute, thank you!

Denise- that means a lot coming from you- I know you're sensitive to the challenge of keeping abreast of trends while remaining age-appropriate.

Natalie, You're so kind! I do think Blithe Cosmopolitan is a keeper. It's so fun!
The bag in #4 is an Hermès Kelly. I don't carry it nearly enough because I've been wearing silver and I'm matchy about hardware. A Kelly would be fabulous with your style, but it's an even more dangerous addiction than Chanel!

Carlamazinglady- thanks! I don't work in an office- I work in the operating room, so I don't get to wear any of my clothes at work!

Lyn67- thanks! We'll need to figure yours out, next!

Marthe- thank you!

Lantana- I'm flattered! I find your style extremely inspirational as well!
