I love them all but #1 with the red jacket added to it is my favorite!

I love outfits 2 and 6 the very best. They're all pretty fab though.

My personal favorite are 1,3 and 5.

All such great choices! Love #7 (waving at my shoe twin)! I also love #1 with the red blazer, and #2/3 (that crisp Anne Fontaine pinstripe shirt is so fresh with the orange pants!

I vote for #2 or #3

One and 6 are my favorites. I love some of the others but for a business networking event they may be a little too girly and not serious enough. The two that are my favorites still show off your creativity through little touches but it is not as in-your-face. One would also look good with the red blazer to dress it up further.

I think 5/6 is a more "memorable" outfit, you look fabulous in red!

I'd wear #1, with the red blazer. I hate to say it but I didn't like #2 or #3 at all. I *did* think ice cream man when I saw those. I know, I know, many people loved them.

#1, 6, and 7 are very creative-looking and memorable. Super cute! Good luck!

Ana: I'm a musician, not a writer, but I do know that agents are interested in how a writer or performer will present herself on a book tour, or (for a singer) when attending fundraising events, etc. I'd imagine they're looking to sign people who can write books that engage the imagination of a large public, but they also look for writers who are engaging in person. With your lovely, warm face and sharp sense of style, they'll be lining up to read your book!

Thank you all so much! It seems kind of like a toss up between #1 and #6. Now I know the red blazer is definitely going to be worn! I might wait and see how I feel on the day and choose either #1 (with the red blazer over the top) or #6.

Texstyle, thank you for the honest feedback! I always appreciate it. : )

Beth Ann, thank you so much for the lovely compliment! I'm fully expecting this whole writing-for-publication process to take a very long time (if it ever happens), which is why I'm mostly focused on meeting and getting to know as many people in the industry as possible (and writing the best book I can, of course). : )

Thanks again everyone!

I love #2 and #5. I think I would go for #5 for the event, as I'm not sure I would wear #2 to a networking event with people you haven't met before, though, as orange trousers are VERY distinctive and might be a bit much for more conservative types.

I also like #2! To my eye the little bow plus the orange pants are cute but a bit daring, and hence memorable. Maybe we never had ice cream men who dressed like that but it's not what I thought of at all.
