Please help me choose!?! Update in comments

I have several errands to run today. I want to pick up job applications (yes, I actually live in an area where stores still do paper applications, not online ones). I also have physical therapy, so my outfit must function for both with no more than a quick change of shoes (because obviously LOL). This outfit is NOT something I'd wear for a job interview, but I figure it's ok for today's purpose in my very casual rural area. My questions:

* pants: rolled up or not?
* footwear: pumps or booties?
(1-4 Nine West loafer-pumps, 5-7 YSL shooties, 8-10 vintage Enzo Angiolini ankle boots, 11-14 Edmundo Castillo booties, 15-18 Cole Haan booties)
* top: the embellishments aren't too much? This is Texas, where there's never too much bling but I would rather err on the side of caution LOL
* accessories: beyond the black footwear, bag, & fitness watch, I'm kind of stumped. I'm guessing that the embellished top means I should go with a short, minimal necklace. I'm thinking silver, to match the embellishments, go with the silver pants, and contrast against the black (+ go with my hair). Maybe a simple silver ring on my right hand and a chunky cuff on the right arm?

Thank you all for any thoughts, critiques, suggestions, or other input! (No pics of face/hair because that isn't done yet, I'll be keeping those simple & minimal.)

I vote rolled, and whichever shoes are most appropriate for the weather... the boots look seasonally confused for what I would think the temps are in Texas. I think the second pair are my favs.

I wouldn't worry about more accessories... the bling in the top says no necklace to me. Simple earrings, ring if you like. Good to go!

I like the pants rolled with the lower-vamp shoe in 3/4. I agree with Elizabeth P that with the sparkly top I wouldn't worry about a necklace, but ring/bracelet sounds good, and small earrings (if you wear them).

Rolled cuffs, first pair of shoes. Can you roll the pants a bit shorter as an option? Accessorize with a silver bracelet, or even add another color such as red and silver or turquoise and silver? Necklace might be lost with the sparkly decoration on the top.

Good pt—this is Texas. We are where we live to some extent. So bling is embraced. The top isn’t too much btw from my perspective. The pants—can you do another roll and show some ankle? Shoes—I like the heels if they are comfy; otherwise the 5th photo because it has a heel. Accessories—a cuffed bracelet, silver. That’s it. Where might you add color? Change out the shoes to turquoise or red? Do you have a watch with colored leather band? Something subtle, however. Outfit creation is my new learning goal. I can see it for others but I stand in my own closet far too long, pondering.

I like rolled best except with the boots in #9. The roll looks like it's catching on the boot opening so I would leave the pants long with those boots. I agree that jewelry other than a necklace would look best. A necklace will just get lost in the embellishment on the top. How hot is it there? I wouldn't wear boots if it's hot - I would wear one of the first two pairs.

Yes, it's hot here. Temps are only in the 90s, but humidity has the heat index/humidex closer to 110F this afternoon. So yeah, the boots are a bit seasonally confused but we are starting to see fall fashions hit the stores so I wanted to throw them in as options. Pumps it is, thanks for the help XO

I can absolutely roll the pants a bit higher; it would likely look more intentional/on trend, and feel a bit better in this heat.

I'm way cool with no necklace, because even a necklace feels too hot with this humidity LOL, and a simple chunky cuff and ring sounds perfect to me (I might love looking at Iris Apfel's piles of chunky accessories, but I'm not ready to wear them just yet because too hot)

Went a bit higher with the cuff on the pants and went with the low camp pumps. Makeup is done (thanks for all the mascara suggestions y'all gave me--lash primer is amazing!). Jewelry added (no necklace, the top has enough sparkle). Can't do earrings so I added a silver barrette to contain the hair in this heat & humidity.

Good luck on job hunt. Hope you find an employer who will value you.
That said- my personal opinion is- even if you are just filling out an application- dress in an outfit that if they surprise you with an “ on the spot interview “ you feel both appropriate and unapologetic. Everyone has to decide the definition of those terms for themselves.

Bj1111, Most of them were bought in thrift shops. The only ones bought new are the Edmundo Castillo pair, and they're several years old. I hope you find some you like!

Yes rolled w pumps, and love the cuff bracelet! I personally wouldn't wear boots in that sort of heat, or even pants though. Id have heatstroke! Only skirts and sandals for me til at least October:)
