Please help choose Bday gift Cognac boots

This is my present to myself and I'm torn between these 2 at the moment. Haven't tried either on, but can be returned. I'm looking for boots to wear with skirts and with jeans tucked in. I don't want a lot of hardware, want a smallish heel (not flat or wedge) and I have lots of coupon codes for these so they are around/under my $100 bogey.
What do you think?

I like #2 more (coconuts) - the additional hardware (if that's not too much for you), makes the boot look more upscale and high end

Of course, make sure they're comfy!

I like them both. I think it depends on lifestyle. The first pair are more classic and dressy. I think the second would be easier to walk in. But I cannot do much of a heel.

I like the simplicity of #1, and the zipper on the outside of #2 looks kind of odd to me, though I'm sure others would like it.

#1 is uptown, #2 is downtown.

They're both great. Haha! I'm no help. I say, if you want to tuck your jeans in, maybe go with #2. Unless we're talking jeggings... Haha! No help at all!

I like both for different reasons. But #1 is definitely more versatile. I vote #1!

I also vote for #1 and echo another poster in saying they are less fussy. I find that more hardware works great for pairing with skinnies, but they feel feel very trendy and young. You can only pair that with similar looking outfits, including dresses. However with #1, less is more. It's a beautiful, classic cut that can be dressed up and down at will.

I like the overall look of #2 - heel height, shape of the toe, but I'm not sold on the outside zipper. It looks a bit overdone to me. #1 is a classic shape, but it is definitely dressier than #2. How will that work with your style? If you want something primarily for jeans and occasionally skirts, then it may not be the best choice.

Thanks for the help! I've ordered #1 and will post when they arrive! You all made me realize the simpler style was more what I wanted and I will get more use from them wearing to work with dresses and skirts.

i don't think you'll be disappointed. i own very similar cognac bandolino boots, but they are from a couple years ago. the leather is very nice. i wear them all the time.
