The recent threads worrying about being on here too much have made me realize it probably looks like I'm on here all day! Just so you know, I usually sign in at work and then leave the page up to check in when I need a break, but just know that I am not actually HERE 24/7, even if it seems that way. Only 23/7, maybe. (kidding!)

This is funny...there's been a few times lately when I've gone to bed without logging out, and it looks like I'm on here all night or something.

Ditto Zap... we're such a plugged in society now. I wouldn't think twice about seeing anyone logged in all day.

Same as you Una - I log in when I get to work and pop in and out when I have a second. Don't worry your gorgeous self about it!

I've wondered about that -- I don't log out, since I'm the only one who uses my computer/iPad. I just close the browser window, and sometimes I actually forget to do that and it will be open in the background while I work. So maybe it looks like I'm on here all the time???

I think the forum will show you as logged out after 5 (?) minutes of inactivity.

Well, i AM on here all day, LOL. In between other things, but pretty much constantly when I have time...

So when I get up in the morning, with my coffee - and find myself still logged in because I forgot to log off the night before, I don't show as "logged in" ?

Not that it matters - just kind of funny because that's happened a lot recently where I've gone off to do something else..end up going to bed, but never did log out of YLF.

I think what happens is that when you return to YLF, you get logged in again automatically, so you can't really see yourself not logged in.

Una, no judgement here:). I do the same! I log in at work and remain on all day checking in when I have a break and at home I use my iPad and multi task between household stuff and reading YLF.

You can stay logged in permanently by checking the keep me logged in box at the log in section but after 5 or 10 minutes of inactivity you drop of the 'members online' section then reappear as soon as you move about on the page again. Your secrets safe with us x

Jealous! My work computer faces everyone so i can only use my phone for internet during most days and navigating the YLF site on it is not that fun.
