When Angie posted this summer casual capsule I knew that I would have to try it as it's right up my alley. I'm not sure I got enough variation in the tops, because color schemes and clashing became an issue, but here's my first whack at it.
1 - the bottoms: gray cropped chinos, Caslon; cropped white jeans, Ann Taylor; denim boyfriend shorts, Old Navy (thrifted); turquoise shorts, Talbots.
2/3 - the tops: blue and white microstripe v-neck tee, Merona/Target; striped tiered knit top, Dress Barn; fuchsia knit tank with crossover detail, Autograph; graphic tee, Lucky Brand.
4 - the shoes: pink sneakers, Nike; teal studded flats, Splendid; navy flats, Born; brown wedge sandals, Naturalizer.
The outfits:
5- striped tank and denim shorts with teal flats
6 - blue/white tee with denim shorts and sneakers
7 - graphic tee with denim shorts and sandals
8 - fuchsia top with denim shorts and navy flats
9 - striped tank and turquoise shorts with navy flats
10 - blue/white tee with turquoise shorts and sneakers (this one doesn't really work for me, with the clashing blues)
11 - graphic tee, turquoise shorts and sandals
12 - fuchsia tank, turquoise shorts and teal flats (again not sure about this one)
13 - striped tank, gray pants, teal flats
14 - blue/white tee, gray pants, sandals
15 - graphic tee, gray pants, sneakers
16 - fuchsia tank, gray pants, navy flats
17 - striped tank, white jeans, navy flats
18 - blue/white tee, white jeans, sneakers
19 - graphic tee, white jeans, sandals
20 - fuchsia tank, white jeans, teal flats
