Thanks, everyone. This was fun. I highly recommend doing this (pulling out a bunch of patterned items and playing with combos) even if you think the whole kitchen sink ensemble is too much. You might be surprised.
Angie, you need a floral bag! I have actually been considering a second one - one of the smallish ted baker clutches, but I wish they made them with wristlet rather than chain straps....
Jaileen, I did knit the purple/white thing. It's a cowl and is simpler than it looks. Pattern is called Toast Cowl on ravelry if you're curious.
Delurked, I think you're right about the bag w/ the black watch plaid. Too bad I don't have a black/white patterned bag, I think that might work. I like the floral bag w/the purple plaid though - although I couldn't really come up with anything for the purple plaid. Not in terms of pattern mixing but outfit proportions. It's a midi wrap skirt that's difficult to style.
Greyscale, I like that combo a lot too, and am def going to wear it next week. Haven't decided whether to do the more white horizontal stripe tee or the more black diagonal stripe tunic though.
