I was shuffling around some shoes in my closet and started taking note of what I am not wearing these days. I'm not feeling platform styles so much lately. I think this is partially because even though they are comfortable enough, they are not always easy to do a lot of walking in. But also, I'm just feeling like single-soled shoes, platforms, and block heels are looking a bit more current and fresh these days.
I'm including photos here of three pairs.
1-2 The olive Antelope ones are probably 5 years old, not my most versatile color, and not exactly workhorses, but I do enjoy wearing them from time to time.
3-4 The rose gold Lucky Brand ones are maybe 3 years old. I think they look really nice on my feet, and I wore them a couple of times last year, mainly with dresses for certain dressy-casual occasions.
5-6 The brown Cordanis are so comfortable but I can't remember when I last wore them. I've had them for at least five years.
What do you think? Anyone else experiencing this?
