I'm not one with the confidence to wear trends, so I've only just started being able to look at platforms without laughing. (It took me forever to bring myself to put on skinny jeans, but I still haven't worked up the nerve to wear them with heels even though I see people doing it.)

I got a FANTASTIC deal at Ross on these shoes--just $30, and they make short little me so tall! Plus they're incredibly comfortable, unlike just about every other pair of sandals I own. I loathe most of my summer shoes, especially the way they rub and chafe without socks, so I really want to make these super-comfy sandals my summer workhorses. But I have absolutely no idea about what to wear with them. These are my first platforms other than a pretty conservative pair of pumps.
