The addition of greens will be lovely for your wardrobe.
I’ve picked up quite a few pieces already for spring. A favorite new item is a butter yellow short sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor I’ve already worn a few times. I also recently purchased a soft pink Ralph Lauren linen button up shirt for summer. I have long sleeve linen button up shirts I wore last year and wanted to give a short sleeve option a try. No sleeves to roll up!
I’ve lost enough weight I just replaced almost all my jeans (only 1 pair of cropped skinnies in cantaloupe color still fit probably because they have a lot of stretch). I was trying to hold off until the fall but Lucky Brand had a nice online sale so I decided to do it now instead.
Right now I’m starting to sort through my shorts and see what still fits. However, unlike the jeans I own a LOT of shorts so I’m taking this as an opportunity to reduce the total number of shorts I own (no one in one out for shorts). I might buy one pair in a neutral color but that’s it.
I’m also reevaluating my graphic tees. I adore graphic tees but I own a lot of them and I think it’s time to give a close look at how many I really wear regularly in a season.
Solid tee shirts are a staple for me for layering during our transitional weather and I ordered a refresh of those from ll bean because their Pima cotton is super soft and the material has a nice weight (ie not flimsy).
Footwear is my easiest category this coming S/S, only 1 pair was on my list, white leather slip on Ecco sneakers which I managed to grab on sale.
My local consignment shop has been helpful for S/S, my straight leg jeans, cropped pink pants with navy side stripe, and rust joggers were all recent additions. An out of season addition was an ivory half zip pullover from a western store I enjoy that is clearing out their winter items for spring. I couldn’t pass up the 50 percent off price on a fleece pullover that did not have a hood (so hard to find non hooded sweatshirts that are also not crewnecks sometimes).
