Planning tomorrow's outfit today: help refine the details?

Hi all. Thanks for all the feedback on my new silky blouse. I know some of you weren't in favour of the warner colour scheme on me, but the majority carried the day on this one... Especially because they supported what my heart wanted to do with this blouse. It feels amazing, passes the sit down test with flying colours, and falls in line with my long -term wardrobe objective of switching to all woven tops. Mm
Anyway, since I'm keeping the blouse, I figured it was time to start wearing it. I could use your help on styling, though.
I've paired it with my black pleather -panel pencil skirt, which I'm beyond in love with. I'm also wearing low -heeled red shoes with it and carrying my snakeskin bag. So far so good, I devoutly hope, though please set me straight if I'm wrong.
I'm showing this with two different styling approaches, and I need to know which one looks best. Is it better untucked and with the big gold necklace, or tucked in with red and black earrings plus a gold cuff? I've always been under the impression that tucked shirts look ridiculous on me, so please confirm that one way or the other.

Both are OK (I know, big help!), but I have a preference for the untucked top and necklace. You've got a gorgeous neckline to show off there, and leaving it bare seems a shame.

Depending on your color preferences, you could stay in all neutrals, or you could put red/burgundy shoes with the outfit for a little more color. Or maybe even cobalt blue if you had something like that. I always go too conservative with my shoes, so I'm trying to be brave with color there and want to encourage others to do that too!

Michelle, this outfit is fantastic both ways! I prefer the tucked look though - it really shows off your lovely figure. You do not look ridiculous AT ALL in a tucked top, so please start tucking away!

Michelle, both ways work well but I like the blouse best tucked as the most figure flattering option. The necklace is beautiful with the neckline of the blouse and would also work with the tucked blouse. This is a fabulous outfit.

I love the tucked version - your legs look longer (which is a good thing imo). Try the blouse untucked with a cami underneath that way you can leave some buttons undone - top & bottom - which will break up the line in front. Have a great day.

Tucked looks chic and polished, so I vote for that.
Untucked would look great with a denim topper for a dressed-down day.

Wow Michelle this looks wonderful on you! Definitely wear the blouse tucked with the skirt. It seems a touch long when it's untucked. This is a new look for you but it's definitely a winner. That skirt is such a good length and shape for you.

I love this blouse on you Michelle (I think I missed the earlier thread?) and it looks good both ways but I have a preference for the tucked version. You look fantastic in that pencil skirt so why not show it off a bit!

I went with the pre-work consensus and wore the blouse tucked in with the gold necklace...and I've already gotten a couple of complements after being here 5 minutes.
Angie, I'm interested/curious...what appeals to you more about the untucked look? Do you think I can pull off tucking at all? That's definitely new territory for me.

I am late, but my answer would also have be tucked in. I am curious to know why Angie prefer the untucked version to.Maybe more on trend?

Untucked, things look tidier. Which would seem contrary to intuition, but it does.

However, I prefer tucked because it shows a little figure.

I missed the conversation on the color. Have you thought about black shoes and a brighter bag, like a berry color?
